polyvore is filled with so many sets.
 
they're all so busy.
 
so many items.
 
so little space.
 
and that's great. it really is.
 
but it's missing something.
 
it's missing
 
emotion.
 
you don't have to use hundreds of pre-made, posed, filtered photographs, and brand names to show feeling.
 
you just need a few.
 
little.
 
pure.
 
real.
 
there's nothing more beautiful than the complexities and reality of life.
i propose that we start a revoloution. show that you can make sets that are popular, without having to stay away from the basics.
this is the parthena manifesto.
and these are the rules for making a parthena polyvore set.

1.
All of the photos used must be candid.
2.
The clothing photos must be natural. They cannot be taken in a studio, with professional lighting, or heavily posed.
3.
Filters on the photos, and set are forbidden.
4.
You cannot use text or quotes, unless it is handwritten. You can use one text image maximum.
5.
Your set must have 10 items or less. (not including white in the background if you want to make space)
6.
No music in the set, although you may provide a link in the description if you must.
7.
No digital art. Only photos taken of art pieces.
8.
You cannot name your sets. It must remain untitled (with a number, if you'd like) unless you are making an announcement, like a contest.
9.
Your set should be able to tell a story with the items used. It is not necessary, but it is recommended.
10.
Be proud of yourself, and your creation.
